Consumer Behavior, Skin Phototype, Sunscreens, and Tools for Photoprotection: A Review

Sunscreens and photoprotection tools along with consumer habits behaviors, can mitigate the skin damage caused by excessive solar radiation. For example, protecting oneself in shade, avoiding inadequate sun exposure at times of higher incidence UVB radiation (between 10:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.), wearing clothes protection factors, applying sunscreens correct amounts intervals, glasses anti-UVA lenses are effective measures for an individual. Therefore, objective this review was to highlight importance all phototypes, as cancer is a worldwide public health problem. In scientific literature on Scopus platform between 2015 2022, we addressed most common behaviors among different individuals their clarifying population against radiation, use provide advice healthy safe exposure.
